Today, Field Rations focuses on three different gourmet offerings:
1. THE POP-UP
A pop-up, or mobile restaurant, is an immersive multi-course culinary event for diners. These events are often held in unorthodox settings like art galleries or breakfast cafes. Pop-up dinners bring the opportunity to pair each individual course with fine wines, offered by local wine merchant Bent Frenchman. In an intimate setting, dining tables are sat family style for 12, so that guests - friend or strangers - are able to converse and connect. High-end china, stemware and silver, along with custom-made tables by Brian (Industrial design, remember?) complete a vision and sophistication uniquely Field Rations.
2. PRIVATE DINING
We’re here for you. A Field Rations private dinner lets you, our client, construct a dinner built on your tastes, desires, and atmosphere. Based on your input, we’ll construct a dinner or cocktail party that’ll be sure to please you and your guests. We work closely with wine merchants who can bring a worldliness of pairings to your unique menu. At Field Rations, priority is to incorporate the best ingredients sourced from top purveyors in the area. Whether it be cheeseburgers or truffles, we strive to provide the highest quality product by making your meal from scratch.
3. THE MRE - PRE-MADE EASY-TO- HEAT GOURMET MEALS
Let us handle dinner. Field Rations offers a selection of high-end pre-made meals read to eat. These sous vide, or cryovac, meal options are prepared and fully cooked in our kitchen with the high quality ingredients, then vacuum-sealed and frozen. Ideal for stocking your freezer, all that is required to eat is an quick and easy reheat in a pot of water or with the use of a sous vide machine.
